EXERGEN TRADE UP FOR ACCURACY REBATE PROGRAM
CONSUMER TAT-2000C MODEL
Rebates will be honored with valid purchase dates are from 2/17/2020-12/31/2021. Rebates must be submitted within 30 days of Exergen purchase.
Consumers will be asked to trade in their non contact thermometers, or send photos proving they own them and will retire them to use the accurate Exergen TAT-2000C’s at home.
DESCRIPTION/SPONSOR/AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES:
The Exergen (“Trade Up For Accuracy Rebate Program") is designed to reward participants via a rebate card for $5 per non contact thermometer traded in for an Exergen TAT-2000C thermometer. Card is issued by MetaBank®, N.A., Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. No cash access or recurring payments. Can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. Card valid for up to 6 months from the issue date; unused funds will forfeit after the valid thru date. Card terms and conditions apply.
As set forth more fully below, participants will submit their name and address via the Exergen entry page.
Exergen Corporation (“Sponsor”), is solely responsible for all aspects of this “Rebate Program”). Participation in the Program constitutes the participant’s unconditional acceptance of and agreement to these Official Rules (“Official Rules”) and the decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions shall be final and legally binding in all respects.
- ELIGIBILITY: This Program is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, who are currently residing in the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico and all other territories), who are 18 years of age or older, or the age of majority in their state of residence (whichever is older) at the time of registration. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions and advertising, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies (collectively “Promotion Entities”), their immediate families (parent, child, sibling & spouse) and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the Program. All questions of eligibility shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion.
2. How to Apply for The Rebate
The entrant must upload a photo of their non contact thermometer(s) that will be retired and replaced with Exergen TAT-2000C’s. Then the entrant must show proof of purchase of Exergen TAT-2000C’s with a sales receipt. During the campaign period, visit the Exergen rebate program entry page and submit your name and email. Rebates must be submitted within 30 days of Exergen purchase.
Limits per person during the Entry Period. There is a limit of 3 rebates per household, entrants may register up to 3 times, provided they have the appropriate documents that are not duplicates, showing they have purchased 3 TAT-2000C’s, and are retiring or trading in 3 non contact thermometers. Sponsor will provide prepaid shipping labels if the participant would like to send in the retired non contact thermometer to Exergen, but it is not necessary. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request labels. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected registrations, which will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Entrants may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor, and will not be returned. Sponsor reserves the right to contact entrants and all other individuals whose email address is submitted as part of this Program. Normal internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service will apply.
If Sponsor is notified that any element of an entrant’s Submission infringes upon the rights of another person, or receives a legally valid request to remove or invalidate the affected entry because of such infringement, such entry may be removed and disqualified from the Program at Sponsor’s sole discretion. No entrant will be eligible to receive a rebate unless Sponsor determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, that such entrant’s Submission has been or can be sufficiently cleared for legal purposes, and such entrant has complied with the terms of these Official Rules. By entering the Program, all entrants: (a) give the Promotion Entities full and complete usage rights to the Entry Materials (as defined below); (b) agree that all Entry Materials become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor for its use, as it deems appropriate, and for no further compensation, acknowledgement of or approvals by entrant and (c) agree that no Entry Materials will be returned to entrants. “Entry Materials” include:  all information and material submitted by you in connection with the Program, including the entry information and all other forms, contracts or releases required to be submitted by you, whether required by Sponsor prior to or after entry; and  your name, likeness, image and biographical data as contained in or reflected by the entry.
3. Rebate Entrant Notification
Each rebate entrant will be notified by email within 24 hours from date of entry form fulfillment. The process to fulfill the rebate card for $5 will take 4-6 weeks. The rebate card will be send via USPS mail to the address provided on the entry form.
4. General Rules
The Exergen Corporation is not responsible for undeliverable, lost, delayed, misdirected or misaddressed email or any other issues regarding the electronic delivery of the entry or for electronic or human errors of any kind. Failure to comply with any published Giveaway rules is grounds for immediate disqualification from the Giveaway. Sponsor and its agencies will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with your participation in the Program. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in the Program or use or redemption of the rebate.
The sponsor of the Program is the Exergen Corporation, 400 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472. The Program is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by the Organizations conducting the ad. You understand that you are providing your information to the Exergen Corporation.
